Architect, implement & manage IT infrastructure for optimal performance

Since joining Riverbed at the start of 2006, Paul has been helping new customers understand the opportunities and benefits of application acceleration through WAN optimisation, while at the same time, strengthening Riverbeds foothold in the EMEA region.Paul has more than 25 years of experience in IT having spent time working in many areas of the industry. Starting out with Mainframes when they did occupy more space than a tennis court, and Data Communications when 1200 Baud modems were the next big thing. Next for Paul came roles in Office & Open systems followed by a few years in Symmetric Multi-Processing. The last 14 years have been mainly with Networks and Networked Storage of some type, with the last 4+ years at Riverbed. Previously, Paul has held Technical Marketing and Consulting positions at Brocade Communications and Auspex Systems as well as participating on the Fibre Channel Engineering Council of SNIA Europe.
