Robert Callaghan is technical marketing manager in the Accelerated Solutions Division of LSI Corporation. In this position, he is focused on solid-state-based storage solutions and is responsible for evangelising the company’s solid-state storage technology and products, competitive analysis and alliances.Previously, Callaghan was technical marketing manager in LSI’s Storage Components Division, focused on SAS technology and the LSI SAS switch.Before joining LSI, he held numerous product and marketing management positions at Quantum Corporation, Nortel, 3COM and Adaptec.Callaghan has been invited to speak at many industry events, including SNW, SNIA and EMC World. He is actively involved with SNIA, having been the former Chair for the SNIA Storage Management Forum.Callaghan received a bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems from California State University East Bay and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
