Chris joined Logicalis in January 2006 to lead the business' focus on defining and marketing its core ‘go to market’ solutions propositions.With 20 years of experience in the ICT industry, Chris has spent his career working within both systems integration organisations and IT vendors (Logicalis, 2e2, SCC, Cabletron Systems), and has worked for the last 10 years in product marketing and market roles in the UK, Europe and United States.While at Cabletron Systems (now Enterasys) Chris worked in the US Corporate HQ in New Hampshire as Global Director of Public Relations, and was part of the executive IPO team that spun Enterasys Networks out from the parent company, Cabletron Systems.Chris heads up the UK Marketing function at Logicalis, and as well as being responsible for key UK marketing initiatives also supports Group marketing and messaging strategies.

Phil has a first class honours degree in physics, and a doctorate in nuclear physics, both from St Edmund Hall, University of Oxford.Phil has worked solely in the Higher Education (HE) sector. His early career was in what is now termed eLearning, first as a courseware developer in physics at Cardiff University, next as an eLearning advisor working with academics at the University of Hull, and finally in a strategic Head of eLearning-equivalent role at King’s College London. He then moved into IT senior management, first as Assistant Director of Information Services at Aberystwyth University, next as Head of ICT at the University of Plymouth, and currently as Director of IT at Loughborough University, giving thirteen years’ experience at this level.Phil’s own background in academic research, learning and student experience has allowed him to lead in key areas in the rapidly emerging competitive HE marketplace. His novel approach to infrastructure, including hybrid cloud, has allowed the millions saved to be invested elsewhere, further helping to maintain Loughborough’s top ranking.

In his role as Product Alliances and Solutions Marketing Manager, Laurence is responsible for driving market awareness for NetApp products across UK and Ireland. Working closely with the EMEA Product, Alliances and Solutions Marketing Manager, his focus is to drive business growth and closely align NetApp offerings with customer and market needs.Laurence works across all of NetApp product areas and has an in-depth understanding of its diverse customer needs to deliver value across the entire range of its product suite. Leading the marketing activities within this area, Laurence is responsible for ensuring this element of NetApp’s offering is market-leading, of the highest standard and guarantees customer ROI. Working with a dedicated and experienced team, he assists in developing and implementing marketing campaigns that support the positioning of NetApp products and its reputation.Prior to joining NetApp in 2010, Laurence was the Data Centre Efficiency Marketing Manager for Sun Microsystems and then Oracle. Prior to this he worked for StorageTek as Disk Category and ILM Marketing Manager, Principal Technical Account Manager, as Technical Design Authority at Centrica and Principal IT Consultant at the Meteorological Office.
