Financial organisations often face challenges in identifying a network appropriate to the task of managing global assets. The following example is a leading London based group; their name is not mentioned here as they need to protect their identity due to the nature of their work. Their problem was how to identify and install a premises cabling solution flexible enough to enable rapid connections to any location and to accommodate complex change requirements, moving several hundred people at a time. This was to be installed in the company’s new HQ, two additional buildings and a remote unmanned data centre.

MPOptimate Fiber Optic System
This system is capable of supporting 10G applications through the com- plete structure of a Data Center, as specified in ISO/IEC 24764, EN 50173-5 and TIA/EIA 942. It offers one passive channel from the end equipment to the core switch without the need of repeating signals for amplifying reasons. When using the MPOptimate cabling system, the owner can replace aggregation switches by a patch cord without changing the passive infrastructure.
