Nexus PR improves employee collaboration and customer responsiveness with Unified Communications solution
Fabric helps Nexus PR optimise collaboration
Nexus PR is one of the UK’s leading public relations consultancies working in the consumer, healthcare, education and issues management sectors. The agency has always embraced technology, using it to deliver its award-winning services to clients, and enabling it to work to three key watchwords which sum up the company’s philosophy: insight,
challenge and performance.
Public relations is a demanding, highly competitive industry where effective communication with clients is every bit as important as the ability to campaign on their behalf. The right technical communications tools can make a radical difference to performance and Nexus recognised that in order to maintain its competitive edge, the company needed to make some substantial changes to its existing infrastructure.

TRX Futures capitalises on Fabric's IP Dealerboard solution
TRX Futures (www.trxfutures.com) is a commodity and financial services brokerage based in the city of London. For
the business to compete in the fast world of the city it needs to be constantly in touch with the rest of the world and
updated with up-to-the second information, and nowhere is this more important than on the phones the brokers use.
The brokers need to be in constant communication with the market; each broker can be on multiple calls at once, and
on multiple handsets. Effectively the brokers’ dealer-boards are the veins of the industry - without them a broker is
unable to do business, and if they fail the losses can be considerable. Furthermore, as well as their own brokers using the system TRX also offers its full brokerage services to its clients, and any faults here reduce the company’s bottom line and also diminish its reputation within the industry.

Fabric Technologies & Cloud Computing
Utilising the cloud to make IT easier and more cost-effectiveMaking IT easier and more cost-effective
At Fabric we have always believed in providing technology solutions that have the power to help customers transform their business. We invested in building our own cloud computing infrastructure at an early stage so that we could, as soon as our customers were ready, provide IT infrastructure as a service. Many have already taken advantage of this offering and we manage many hundreds of server instances in the cloud for our clients.
We have built a completely resilient MPLS network and make use of dual data centres to provide a fully scalable and flexible offering that enables you to add servers and make new applications and services available to your users within hours. In doing so, you avoid having to make any additional up-front capital expenditure and shift the burden of managing, securing and backing up those servers to us. And if you need extra performance or storage capacity at any time, you just need to let us know.
You can use exactly as much cloud-based infrastructure as you need from us and chose to pay through a fixed annual subscription or on a pay-as-you-go basis, so you have plenty of flexibility from a financial perspective as well. Either way, you won’t need to make any new capital outlay, and with new servers being funded from operational expenditure, you’ll be able to divert funds to other key areas of your business.
Our IaaS network is totally secure, so there will never be any danger of someone who is not authorised accessing your servers or information, and we have designed the service so that we can customise it to suit your requirements. If you have any questions at all about adopting a cloud-based approach for some services, we can put your mind at rest and show you just how effective it can be.
We will also sign up to a clear service level agreement that not only commits us to providing failsafe availability, but also to the effectiveness of our service for your business. In other words, we provide you with an absolute guarantee that our cloud-based computing will achieve the benefits we said it would deliver for your business – and if it does not, you’ll be able to take us to task
