Ernst & Young Data Centre
Ernst & Young, one of Europe’s largest auditing and consulting firms, was looking for a way to consolidate three of its European data centres into one central location to save costs and increase the flexibility of its information technology infrastructure.
To meet this challenge, Ernst & Young worked with Corning to plan and install a fibre optic cabling solution for the consolidated data centre. Utilizing its Plug and Play™ system, a pre-terminated, optical-fibre and copper-cabling system, Corning optimized the assembly of Ernst & Young’s network infrastructure in the structured data-centre environment.
The modular components that make up the Plug and Play system were simple to
configure and quickly installed, connected, and put into operation.
